Annual General Meeting (AGM)

**Update: The AGM Scheduled for April 18th has been moved to April 25th**

We will be holding our AGM on April 25th at our sponsor bar, the Erin Mills Pump, immediately after the weekly games end. It will also be our April incentive night. If you have submissions you want to have the membership vote on, or questions that you want the executive to address, please submit them by email to the PCVC executive at exec@pcvc.ca by midnight on April 11th. As we get submissions they will be added to the agenda and posted on the website.

As happens each year at the AGM, we will be looking to fill upcoming vacancies on the PCVC executive. We will be looking for nominations for filling the following positions:

  1. President
  2. League Convenor
  3. Tournament Director
  4. Secretary

Members not in attendance at the AGM may submit their vote for non-constitutional items here. Advance voting will be available up until  6:30PM of the day of the AGM.

PCVC March Break Social 2019

Due to school closings for March break there is no volleyball on March 14th. Instead, we hope you will join us for our March break social at the Crooked cue in Mississauga (NOT ETOBICOKE). This event is open to members, substitute players as well as guests.

We will have a couple pool tables and ping pong tables to challenge your teams and fellow PCVC members. We will be providing members with one drink ticket – for a single drink of your choice. We will also be ordering some nacho platters.

Format:

  1. Winner of best 2 out of 3 games advances to next round.
  2. Games to 25 – no cap.
  3. Depending upon time available, the exec may deem Game 3 be played to 15.
  4. Game 3. Coin toss for choice of serve or side.
  5. Winner Court 1 plays Winner Court 2 in finals (best 2 of 3)

Two teams from each court will advance to the final round on January 24th.

Format:

  1. Top two teams from each court advance to the next round.
  2. Losing teams to supply 2 players to ref for playoff finals.
  3. Teams ranked in the following order:
    a. win-loss record
    b. head-to-head +/- between tied teams
    c. overall +/-
  4. If still tied, team with best regular season ranking will advance.
  5. Games to 25 – no cap.
