PCVC 2023-2024 Tryout Sessions

We’re excited to welcome everyone back for the 2023-2024 season at PCVC. The new season will begin on Thursday, September 21st – so mark your calendars! Please read on for important league updates for this season:

1. League start date: We’ll be serving up the first week of games on Thursday, September 21st at 7pm! Your team assignment and gym location will be sent out prior to the league start date.
2. Outstanding payments: For those who provided a deposit in June, please note that the outstanding $200 is due on Thursday, September 7th. Please make payment using this page or send outstanding dues to payment@pcvc.ca with your name included in the memo-notes section.
3. Membership:  Members that missed the membership renewal deadline please contact exec@pcvc.ca if you have had a change of heart and are now interested in returning.  Officially your membership has been forfeited and consideration will be at the discretion of the Exec.
4. Gym locations: We were able to renew our permit at St. Paul CSS (815 Atwater Ave.).  Unfortunately, Iona has decided to keep Thursday nights open for their own use and not offer permits this calendar year.  The best option available to us was replacing Iona with 2 single gyms in its place:

• Christ the King CES; 3240 Garthwood Rd., Mississauga
• All Saints CES; 4105 Colonial Dr., Mississauga

Rest assured, our two new gym locations are close to Chuck’s so we can keep the good times rolling at the bar after the game.  We are still actively looking into alternative venues that have double gyms but currently the options are limited.

1. Tryout for new members: We are currently looking for new players for the 2023-2024 season! We will be hosting tryouts in the coming weeks to fill these spots. If you know someone that would be a good fit for the league, please send a message to exec@pcvc.ca ASAP so that we can add them to our list and contact the with important information. Tryout dates and details will be shared via email, our website, & Facebook group soon – so stay tuned. Your recommendations help to grow and strengthen PCVC!
2. If you have not joined our Facebook group yet…what are you waiting for! We try to find as many ways to share information with you so join in to ensure that you are up to date with league https://www.facebook.com/groups/portcreditvolleyball
3. 2023 Winter-Spring Prizes were handed out at the banquet, however an abundance of winners were missing.  These will be available for pick-up at tryouts and on the first league night of the fall season

The deadline to renew membership for existing PCVC members for the 2023-2024 season was June 15th, 2023, and has now passed.  Any member who has not renewed their membership by that deadline has been deemed to have resigned from PCVC. Please contact info@pcvc.ca if there are any questions regarding membership renewal.
